Wages Bureau

The company offers this tailored computerised service to any business in any sector, irrespective of size or number of employees.

This customised service is currently used by agricultural firms, haulage contractors, butchers, hotels and funeral directors, ranging in payroll size from one employee to more than 30 employees.

The flexible service can be adapted for most pay periods, ranging from weekly, two weekly, four weekly and monthly time frames.

The bureau can also provide payslips and backing sheets, which can be faxed or posted direct to the client or organise payroll payment in-house.

Buccleuch FBR provides clients with the BACS (Bank Automated Credit System) where payments are completed by the bureau straight into the individual employee's bank account.

The bureau will complete any additional paperwork required (starter forms, P45s), complete the PAYE & NIC monthly/quarterly payment slips, and run off all paperwork for the 5 April taxation year end. It will provide all P14s, individual P60s for individual employees, and complete P11Ds where necessary.

Any queries from the Inland Revenue/DSS will be answered and dealt with professionally and are included in this client focused, comprehensive service.

The style and depth of reporting is discussed with individual clients and customised to meet their needs.  The current client list covers sole traders, partnerships and limited companies across agricultural and non –agricultural sectors.  Buccleuch FBR staff liaise with external accountants and auditors, as and when required.

Budgets:

Budgets are computerised for convenience, efficiency and cash flows for reporting purposes. This facility allows updates to be performed as the year progresses and detailed monthly or quarterly variance reports to be completed.

Farm Book-Keeping & Secretarial

The accounting services division provides a full range of financial maintenance advantages, from management reporting to year-end financial accounts, cashflow/budget preparation and reporting, to the completion of statutory returns.

Buccleuch FBR offer this time-saving service to both agricultural and non-agricultural businesses, using manual and advanced computerised systems.

The current system runs a variety of applications including, Farmdata, Farmplan, Quicken and Sage. All of our employees are proficient in single entry or double entry systems and have regular refresher courses to keep up to date with industry developments.

For convenience, the Farm Secretary can visit clients at their business address or the work can be completed in-house at the offices of  Buccleuch FBR.

This customised service can be tailored to suit clients and covers a wide range of functions from invoice processing, cheque writing, completion of VAT returns, bank and VAT reconciliations, end of financial year work, including creditor and debtor listings and reconciliations. The team will liaise with both accountants and clients to ensure a prompt, smooth service at all times.

Other services offered include livestock and crop recording and NVZ records using the latest computerised systems, assistance in completion of livestock and cropping subsidy forms and other general secretarial duties as required.
